The execution of the Free Senior High School plan has earned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a good honorary Doctor of Beliefs in Educational Leadership education.
The honorary recognition had been conferred on him by University of Cape Coastline (UCC) at a special members held in his honour upon Saturday, May 29, 2021.
President Akufo-Addo in his approval speech lauded the achievement from the policy since its execution and pledged his government’s unflinching commitment towards making sure a better Ghana.
“This reputation is being conferred on myself because of the introduction and approval of the Free SHS plan promoted by my federal government, which has expanded dramatically entry to education; enabling hundreds of thousands associated with young men and women through all corners of our nation to go to Senior High School.
“This may be the first honour I have obtained from an institution within my own country, which makes it obviously very special for me. and am assure all of you that I is going to do my very best to support the higher standards associated with this particular award. ”
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo becomes the particular 40th recipient of an honorary degree and the second Chief executive in Ghana after previous President John Agyekum Kufour to receive a degree from the College of Cape Coast.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Shawl Coast, Professor Johnson Nyarko Boampong, also stated that this President is highly qualified for your honourary degree and should get it.
