Popular Southern African rapper Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, known professionally because Riky Rick has passed away aged 34. Riky’s loved ones confirmed that the rapper passed away in the early hours of Feb 23, 2022, in Johannesburg. The cause of death has however to be confirmed. However , based on sources, the singer apparently hunged himself with a string after suffering from severe major depression. A few hours before his dying, Riky tweeted: “I’ll come back a stronger man. This particular land is still my house. ”A statement his family members released said: “The group of South African artist Riky Rick with profound unhappiness this afternoon confirmed his unforeseen passing. “His love to a family event, friends and community established fact. Riky’s nurturing and creating of young musical skill is well documented, and can forever be remembered. ”The Makhado family have asked for privacy during this period. In 2020, the rapper opened up regarding his struggle with “chronic depression” that led him on the “destructive path” after the dying of his father. This individual leaves behind his wife, 2 children, his mother plus five siblings. RIP.
