Conventional leaders in Bechem have got invoked curses on social media marketing commentator, Twene Jonas, just for allegedly disrespecting the Asantehene, Otumfou Osei Tutu II.
The US-based Ghanaian sustained the wrath of many Ghanaians after he condemned the particular Asantehene and other local chiefs for allegedly offering countries to be used for illegal little scale mining activities, commonly known as Galamsey, that have presented danger to the countries drinking water bodies.
Jonas while climbing down on the chiefs and market leaders in his recent rant mentioned: “Even the Asantehene stated if you are a chief and provide people land to unlawfully mine in return of goat then it’s over to a person. ”
He continued: “In Ghana, everyone is a robber. They don’t speak the facts, including the Asnatehene. He could not speak the truth…”
Jonas’ comments appeared not to have got gone down well with some conventional leaders who have taken serious actions to summon Jonas to a shrine and rainfall curses on him.
Within a video that has surfaced upon social media, the traditionalists are noticed pouring libation with containers of schnapps over a killed goat whilst inviting the particular gods of the land to visit after the social media commentator.
