Traditional market leaders in Bechem have invoked curses on social media commentator, Twene Jonas, for apparently disrespecting the Asantehene, Otumfou Osei Tutu II.
The particular US-based Ghanaian incurred the particular wrath of many Ghanaians right after he condemned the Asantehene and other local chiefs intended for allegedly offering lands for use for illegal small size mining activities, popularly referred to as Galamsey, that have posed risk to the countries water physiques.
Jonas while descending at the chiefs and leaders in the recent rant said: “Even the Asantehene said in case you are a chief and give individuals land to illegally my own in return of goat after that it’s over to you. ”
He continued: “In Ghana, everyone is a thief. These people don’t speak the truth, such as the Asnatehene. He couldn’t talk the truth…”
Jonas’ responses appeared not to have been down well with some traditional market leaders who have taken severe activities to summon Jonas to some shrine and rain curses on him.
In a video clip that has surfaced on social media marketing, the traditionalists are seen serving libation with bottles associated with schnapps over a slaughtered goat whilst inviting the gods of the land to go following the social media commentator.
