Ghanaian actress and socialite Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo, deactivated her Tweets account Thursday after getting the latest target of cyberbullying.
The move follows a number of tweets suggesting she will function as the first lady to rest with 20-year-old Chelsea gamer Callum Hudson-Odoi, following their arrival in the country yesterday.
Efia Odo may have come within number of abusive attacks on the internet, but it appears the latest slut-shaming comments from Twitter customers have struck her more difficult than anything else in the past.
Efia Odo noted she has created tough skin to withstand cyberbully but was deeply hurt to become tagged as a ‘cheap prostitute’ – a name that will not define her personality – amid fighting for modify in this country.
Moments prior to leaving the microblogging web site, she wrote that the lady was appalled by the way individuals “treated her like crap”.
Her post read: “I am strong AF yet it’s hurtful when y’all tag me with these titles. A footballer is in city and y’all keep stating I’m gonna be the initial person he fucks. I am here putting my life in danger for a better Ghana and everything y’all do is assault me and make me seem like crap! Smh y’all won”
