Ghanaian stereo presenter, Nana Romeo provides condemned what he conditions as the unnecessary visits towards the residence of the National Key Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.
Speaking on Accra-based radio station Accra FM, the broadcaster lamented that many people visit the 102-year-old adored religious leader “for simply no special reason” to take images with him and blog post on social media.
He bemoaned that the situation is getting from hands and needs to be examined.
“People visit the Chief Vorbeter every day for no particular reason. Mostly just to get pictures with him. Presently, if you’re searching for an seniors person whose image is over social media, then it is the Chief Imam and it’s poor, ” Nana Romeo stated.
From his observation, the main Imam sometimes looks noticeably tired and needs to sleep but his health is usually ignored because he has to accomadate guests.
Nana Romeo, consequently , called on close affiliates to put structures in place to manage the frequency people will pay courtesy calls on the Main Imam.
He said: “It’s about time that his experts and the people surrounding your pet enact laws to regulate this kind of practices. It is really getting out of hands.
