Prisons are established for the confinement of persons accused or even convicted of crimes within contravention of the law.
The particular correctional facility or rehab centre, as some may choose to call it up, in some instances is expected to change convicts into better individuals. But it appears that is not completely the truth on the ground as it occasionally transforms convicts for the even worse due to some acts they may be exposed to.
An ex-convict offers shared his experience within prison after completing the 10-year jail term when he opened up about some unlawful activities rampant in jail.
He was arrested plus sentenced in 2011 for drug-related offences.
Sharing his encounter on UTV, the ex-convict, who was in holding in Nsawam Prison, said this individual witnessed so many evil functions in the facility.
He pointed out that some inmates participate in Mobile Money fraud while some pose as fetish priests and duped unsuspecting sufferers outside.
According to him, probably the most disturbing acts that occur in the facility is homosexuality. He stated categorically that will prison officers who guy the place are well aware of this particular.
He alleged that an official in charge employed him in order to smuggle marijuana and cigs into the prison yard simply by shoving them into their anal canal and sell this at exorbitant prices in order to inmates.
Among many other unlawful activities that take place, this individual divulged that some inmates use mobile phones which are restricted by law. He added that will SIM cards used for deceptive activities are also available for sale within the facility.
