Well-known Gospel musician Joe Mettle is in hot waters right after U. S based Ghanaian gospel musician, Fletcher Narh on Neat FM uncovered him of using their song without his authorization.
The singer, speaking to Ola Michael on the popular stereo station revealed Joe Mettle contacted him to ‘sample’ his song “Meyi Waye” which this individual was okay with.
Fletcher Narh stated he informed Joe Mettle to hold upon following his request to make use of part of his song while he prays about it. However the worst happened.
The music performer revealed Joe Mettle got released the song with out going through the necessary copyright procedure, also failing to give your pet credit.
“I sang Meyi W’aye about 15 years ago. I am the only one that understands a brief history behind the song and exactly how God gave the music. But you know how Ghanaians act, people do not do the correct thing. ”

“He called me years back and told me he had completed all the research and he enjoys the song and that he or she wanted to do [sample] it. I stated ‘that’s okay.
I have a large amount of songs but we have to get it done the right way’. He actually wanted to know how much I used to be going to charge for it. I must pray about it and all that will but by the time I noticed, he had released it, ” he said.
According to U. Ersus based gospel musician Fletcher Narh, he is excited that will Joe Mettle sampled their song but he is unhappy he didn’t give him credit score for the song.
“I think that the truth is the truth and absolutely nothing can outlive the truth. I had been in America when people sent myself videos and it was interesting but I feel that I earned some credit, ” he additional.
