Jackeline Acheampong, well known as Gyakie, states the fame she’s presently enjoying should not be credited solely to her chart-topping song Forever.
The record has earned her an international record deal with Sony Music, RCA Records UK and Sony Music Africa, as well as, travelled across more than 20 countries with over one million streams on music systems like Spotify.
Although the lady acknowledges that the song provides stepped up her group of followers, Gyakie said it failed to necessarily make her well-known because her music profession was taking off steadily.
“Forever did not make me popular but instead it gained me a larger market in many countries, ” said Gyakie in an job interview with Cookie Tee upon 3FM while promoting the girl new EP dubbed Seeds.
She touched on the EP saying, “I believe that I actually make all my songs along with such passion, and so each one is equally good just as Permanently. ”
Currently, one of the best women vocalist and songwriter, Gyakie had this to say regarding her musical journey: ”I believe you must be industrious. And I thank God to get how far he has seen by means of and am grateful for that love and support through my fans“.
