The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) provides rejected claims its authorities played a vital role in the suspension system of Angel FM’s early morning show host Blessed Godsbrain Smart aka Captain Intelligent.
The radio personality was removed air, about a week back, by the President of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) intended for allegedly criticising top condition officials.
Reacting to their suspension, Captain Smart exposed that his employer, Doctor Kwaku Oteng, claimed that will some top people through GRA and some high position government officials were installation pressure on him to do this against him because he is usually “talks too much”.
However the GRA says reports moving on social media alleging the harassment of Dr Kwaku Oteng are “unfounded plus false”.
“The Authority wants to empathically state that the particular allegations of harassment simply by GRA are unfounded plus false, ” the Income collection body said in the statement.
“Management of GRA thus wishes to respond to the allegations as follows: The particular mandate of the GRA would be to identify and ensure that all individuals who earn income, file their own tax returns and pay the proper taxes to the state.
