Former sympathizer of the NPP Kwame An advantage has slammed the Leader of the country over their decision to burn straight down excavators being used for illegal exploration.
The burning of excavators has become the brand new twist in the country as a way associated with stopping galamsey.
Recently, a surfaced on social media that will sees some excavators apparently belonging to the NPP National Females organizer being burnt simply by some members of the anti-galamsey task force.
The work was condemned by many who had been of the view that rather than the President and the task push burning down that large equipment, why don’t each uses them to construct the poor roads in the country that is taking lives of people.
Nana Akuffo Addo speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction from the first phase of the Regulation Village, said those contrary to the burning of excavators as well as other equipment at illegal exploration sites have the right to visit court to seek redress.
Kwame A Plus in reacting towards the comment from the president mentioned that people should ask the federal government some questions in relation to the burning up of heavy equipment by the previous government.
According to him, you can find better ways of dealing with the particular seized excavators but with those things being taken by the government, if they happen to be taken to the courts they might end up paying the proprietors of the excavators.
He continuing that with all these occurrences, it the citizens that are going to suffer because to begin with their roads are not great and instead of the excavators for use to do the roads they may be burnt which means citizens would certainly continue using the bad streets.
When the owners of the excavators take the case to courtroom and they win, the same govt would use the taxpayers’ cash to pay them then proceed abroad to borrow cash for dredging the Odaw river when the burnt excavators could have served that objective.
