A car owner who knocked down the 27-year-old teacher of Sobre Youngsters School at Adenta with his vehicle and departed from her to die inside a bush at Abokobi continues to be arrested by the police.
The particular incident happened at the Adentan-Dodowa traffic intersection at about seven p. m. on 06 7, 2021.
The believe, Emeka Adams, 42, had been arrested nine days right after he had allegedly knocked over the teacher with a Hyundai Sonata Saloon vehicle with registration amount GB 2126-20.
The unlicensed driver has since already been charged with murder.
Credit reporting the arrest, the Public Relationships Officer of the Greater Accra Regional Police Command, DSP Mrs Effia Tenge, mentioned after knocking down the instructor, the suspect picked the girl up under the pretext associated with taking her to a wellness facility for treatment.
Nevertheless , she said police inspections showed that the suspect apparently abandoned the teacher inside a bush at Abokobi, rather than taking her to the medical center.
The body of the victim, the lady said, was later present in the bush at Abokobi and the police were well informed. The police retrieved the body plus conveyed it to the Law enforcement Hospital Morgue for autopsy and preservation.
Police cleverness, she said, led to the particular arrest of Adams final Wednesday and the vehicle seemed to be found in his possession.
