Firefighters put out the blaze at the depot in Sitakunda, 40 km( 25 long hauls) from the southeastern harborage megacity of Chittagong, on Wednesday, four days after it began late on Saturday, driving a series of explosions. The disquisition was opened into officers who were directly involved in operating the BM Container Depot on dubitation of negligence and mismanagement, elderly police sanctioned Ashraful Karim said. No bone has been arrested. The possessors aren’t under police disquisition as two inquiry panels were looking into the matter. Authorities haven’t determined the cause of the disaster but they suspect a vessel of hydrogen peroxide was the cause of a massive blast that shook the neighbourhood followed by multiple other explosions. Fire service officers said they hadn’t been informed that chemicals were being stored at the depot.
