Taxi cab driver arrested whiles moving suspected human bones

A taxi cab driver has been arrested within the Ayensuano district of the Far eastern region of Ghana whiles transporting suspected human components.
The suspects, Awatey Jesse Okra, 22, a car owner and his accomplice, Amenuvor Nicholas, 20, were arrested simply by residents of Kwamekyere, a residential area in the Ayensuano District on a tip-off.
According to the nearby police, the Unit Committee Chief of Kwamekyere Electoral Region – Aware Isaac, associated with two others upon the tip-off intercepted a Daewoo taxi cab with registration amount GE 5063-15 with potential foods – Awatey David Okra, 22, driver and Amenuvor Nicholas, 20, on Apr 7, 2021, at about ten: 30 pm from Suhum direction towards Kwamekyere, a residential area in the District for apparently carrying human bones.
They will conducted a search in the taxi cab which revealed a dark suitcase containing some older bones suspected to be individual bones.
The police arrested the particular suspects and upon interrogation, they said that one Djoka associated with Niifio near Suhum delivered them to deliver the thought human bones to a fetish priest named Gagba associated with Kwamekyere village in the exact same district.
The suspects brought the Police to visit the shrine of the said Gagba however the fetish priest had steered clear of.
Upon further investigation in the shrine, the police spotted the newly buried pot inside the premises containing an old head also suspected to be a human being skull and a pan full of fetish regalia.
This occurrence is happening few days after the killing of a 10-year-old boy by name Ishmael by 2 teenagers called Nicholas plus Felix in Kasoa.
Along with this and other incidents associated with killings for money rituals associated with fetish priests in recent times has established national concerns.
