Previous Member of Parliament ( MEGA-PIXEL ) for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak has stated within an interview that there is nothing incorrect with marrying your relative.
Ras Mubarak speaking within an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah revealed that their first wife Rasheeda is certainly his cousin but they did marry and reckons there is nothing at all wrong with that.
Ras Mubarak who is a nephew towards the member of parliament Honorable Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak but did marry to Muntaka’s daughter, Rasheeda.
Host of the program Nana Aba Anamoah was extremely shocked upon hearing this particular from the former member of parliament and quizzed him whether it can be described as incest.
Ras Mubarak in his response stated, marrying your cousin cannot be an incest plus noted that the only period it can be an incest is usually when you are marrying your bloodstream sibling.
“My goodness, that is no incest. Incest is usually when you are marrying your immediate siblings. He replied.
