‘The truth often hurts’ – A Plus lauds Arnold designed for standing up to Shatta Wale

Following Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo’s defensive stand towards Shatta Wale on UTV’s United Showbiz, the enjoyment journalist and analyst provides courted admiration from a lot of Ghanaians for his maturation and display of bravery.
Things almost escalated right after Shatta Wale flared upward and rained insults upon Arnold when the two clashed on Nana Ama McBrown’s show on Saturday.
Politics activist and musician Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly termed as a Plus, is one of the few market persons who have doffed their own hats for Arnold just for maintaining his composure regardless of the verbal attacks.
Sharing an image of Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo upon Facebook, A Plus said:
“This guy!!! Solid guy!! Awesome, firm, principled, courageous!! Arnold Asamoah Baidoo.
“You might not like what he says since the truth often hurts, however, you see, it is not advisable in order to surround yourself with people who else only say only what you need to hear if you want to be excellent. You need an Arnold in your own life Periodically. ”

The genesis of the hot exchange between two follows Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo’s expressive views on Shatta Wale’s State of the Market Address during the previous version of the show.
Shatta Wale had among other things said that Ghana does not have a unique music style and that has been one of the industry’s major setback. He furthermore urged Ghanaians to support plans to play 90% of Ghanaian music and 10% international tunes.
Days after their address, Arnold, who is a normal panelist on United Showbiz, lashed out at Shatta Wale describing him “as one of the most inconsistent and puzzled artists”.
According to Arnold, Shatta Wale had in the past insulted pundits for making the same recommendations he raised in his deal with hence, needs to render a good unqualified apology to them.
The furious Shatta Wale nevertheless resorted to insults plus self-aggrandisement while ordering Arnold to shut up and prevent describing him as baffled.
In what appeared to be a danger, Shatta Wale said “You think somebody bi your own boy. It’s only in the news that you can do this”.
Arnold within a rebuttal retorted “We are usually tired of everyday streets. Any girl do is call your own boys. You can’t scare anybody here. ”
