The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Wayne Oppong-Boanuh, says calls for their immediate resignation from workplace over the high rate associated with robbery incidents across the country are usually needless.
Addressing concerns within the alarming rate of low self-esteem in the country, the IGP stated citizens should be modest within their expectations from the police.
Based on the IGP, several developed nations including the United States of America, United Kingdom continue to be battling with cases of thievery. Therefore , the recent spate of crime in the country, nevertheless alarming, is not peculiar in order to Ghana.
