After ending up in the Education Committee of Parliament on Thursday, the College Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has called away from its 5-month old hit. The discussion, which included associates from UTAG, Fair Income, and the Ministers of Training, Employment, and Labor Relationships, lasted several hours. Following the involvement of the education committee, UTAG agreed to call off the hit and engage the government more. The Labour Division from the Accra High Court purchased the University Teachers Organization of Ghana (UTAG) in order to resume work on Monday, Feb 15. This came following the National Labour Commission (NLC) filed an interlocutory injunction to compel them to go back to work until the outcome of the particular substantive matter, which involves the particular NLC’s directive to end the strike. The courtroom presided over by Proper rights Frank Rockson Aboadwe, stated it had taken judicial notice of the settlement tries. The court stated that even though UTAG is still on hit, negotiations cannot be conclusive. Because of this, the notice of interlocutory injunction was granted, as well as the substantive enforcement case had been postponed until February twenty two, 2022.
