A 54-year-old caregiver has been apprehended meant for killing an 11-month-old infant girl at a Day Care Middle.
The suspect known as Clara Ayani-Ampah was captured upon video surveillance forcing porridge in a cup down the neck of the child.
The unfortunate incident happened at the Delighted Bloomers, a preschool situated at Ashongman Estates within Accra.
In a video sighted by GhPage, the caregiver was seen holding the particular baby’s hands tightly at the rear of her back while driving the food down her neck.
The helpless baby gal was seen gasping intended for breath, amid tears plus throwing her legs up but the caregiver paid simply no heed to her cry.
The particular victim is reported to get died after she had been rushed to the North Legon Hospital by the managers from the school.
According to the Public Relations Officials of the Accra Regional Law enforcement Command, Mrs Effia Tenge, the victim’s father documented the case to the Agbogba law enforcement about how the school’s administration informed him about their daughter’s condition.
The proprietress of the school later given the CCTV footage towards the police which revealed just how Clara maltreated the child.

The believe who is currently in law enforcement custody has been remanded with the Adentan Magistrate Court and can reappear before the court upon 11th June 2021.
